Houston ISD will replace all existing communication platforms with ParentSquare
HISD will use ParentSquare to send urgent alerts regarding inclement weather and school closures, missed attendance alerts, and campus-specific messages, according to a board document. The platform also allows HISD and campuses to create a feed and newsletter, survey families, and share registration forms for parent-teacher conferences, volunteering opportunities, and field trips.
Perks of using ParentSquare include:
- Receive school & district messages, alerts, calendar updates
- Reply to messages, ask questions, talk with teachers & staff
- Sign forms, complete surveys, and RSVP to events
- Choose how & when you receive updates (text, e-mail, mobile app-in your preferred language)
